CW250 Marine Diesel Engine


Weichai's new generation WHM250 marine diesel engine series is a new type of diesel engine independently developed, designed and manufactured by Weichai on the basis of Sulzer A25. The engine uses four-stroke, irreversible, in-line, direct-injection, water-cooling, turbocharging, and intercooling technologies. It has compact structure, reliable use, excellent economy, fewer parts, strong versatility, and convenient operation and maintenance.

The power range of the series is 992kW - 1960kW, and the speed range is 720r/min - 1000r/min. It is widely used in offshore and inland river transport vessels, ocean fishing vessels and engineering vessels.

Powerful: Optimized turbocharger, high-pressure fuel pump and fuel injector, with wide power coverage, larger torque reserve and high torque at low speed better for various working conditions.

Excellent fuel economy: Four-valve, pulse turbocharging, large air intake and full combustion lead to minimum fuel consumption rate of 195g/kW-h.

Low vibration and noise: Enhanced key components and high-stiffness spring damper bring low engine vibration and noise. High applicability: The turbocharger can be arranged at the free end or the flywheel end to meet different ship requirements.
