Weichai's new generation WHM250 marine diesel engine series is a new type of diesel engine independently developed, designed and manufactured by Weichai on the basis of Sulzer A25. The engine uses four-stroke, irreversible, in-line, direct-injection, water-cooling, turbocharging, and intercooling technologies. It has compact structure, reliable use, excellent economy, fewer parts, strong versatility, and convenient operation and maintenance.
The power range of the series is 992kW - 1960kW, and the speed range is 720r/min - 1000r/min. It is widely used in offshore and inland river transport vessels, ocean fishing vessels and engineering vessels.
